For the first video, I think that the most interesting part was that he killed his friend. I would want to know more about why he would do that. For the second video the battle was said to be the most significant triumph in Alexander's conquest of Asia. He was made king of Asia afterwards. The video said that he was a good military leader in the battle.

The thing I want to learn more about is why he killed so many of his friends without a seconds thought. The battle of Guagamela is important, because it was the point where Alexander took control of the Persian Empire, and it was where only a few hundred of Alexander's soldiers died, and thousands of the Persians died. I think that Alexander was a good military leader at that battle, because he killed many soldiers by himself, and helped his men with the horses that had the swords attached to the wheels on their chariots. Alexander had the perfect strategy for the battle. He brought the Persian calvary over to the side, and send a squad of troups to flank the Persian army. Alexander had the best strategies, and was able to defeat a much larger army than his while only losing a few men.

In the first video that he killed his friend I don't know why he would do that. Second video in showed who ruled Persia even he did not have as many warriors as Persia he still beat them he was a good leader in some ways even thought a lot died the ones who lived where strong and Alex wanted strong warriors.

It surprised me that Egypt made Alexander a pharaoh because that is such high honor. The battle of Guagamela was important because it would decide who would rule Asia. Alexander was a good military leader in this battle. In my opinion I think Alexander was a villain because he killed many people.

Well, it shouldn't surprise you considering the fact that Alexander the III of Macedon was fighting the Persians, and promptly removing them from Egypt, under their tyrant-like rule. And besides, he was the son of Zeus , right?

Video 1: The thing that I think is most iteresting is that Alexander was in war for 12 years. Thats more than a third of Alexanders life span. Video 2: The battle was so important because it would decide who would rule over Persia. Alexander was great at war because his army was very strong, and he had great stradigies.

Is this Alexander's tomb?!It now appears likely that Ptolemy adapted a vacant tomb that had been prepared by and for the last native Pharaoh of Egypt, Nectanebo II. However, this Pharaoh had fled south to Ethiopia, when Egypt had been invaded by the Persians in 343BC, so he never had the opportunity to occupy his tomb. The site of the prospective tomb was a chapel within the temple complex of the Serapeum in the cemetery area of ancient Memphis at Saqqara. It lay at the end of a mile-long avenue of sphinxes. The Serapeum complex was rediscovered by Auguste Mariette in 1850-1851 by excavating the sands away from the sphinxes one by one. Guarding the entrance to the chapel of Nectanebo II, Mariette discovered an incongruous semicircle of life-size Greek statues of poets and philosophers, which appear to date to the time of Ptolemy. Some of them can be identified, including Pindar, whose house and descendants Alexander had saved at Thebes, Homer, who was Alexander's favourite poet, and Plato, who had been the mentor of Alexander's tutor, Aristotle. Could these statues have been erected to honour Alexander's tomb?
