I thought the video was pretty cool. The cannabalism was weird but the video explained a lot about the minoans and how they were and the temple was cool because I thought the way they had the doors for every year and every time they opened the the door for the sun to rise in that year was awesome and was a girl who sat in the seat and she held snakes. The art was beast it was really deatailed and the way they painted it was cool. I thought that how the people who got put in the cave with the minotar and never came back was cruel but they were cannabls. And the minotar was have man too was really interesting. I like the video.

This was a very creepy and intresting video. The cannibalism part was the most disgusting thing I've ever seen. Though I have to point out, they never really tried to find evidence on how they disappeared. They were rather learning more about the culture, not about their disappearance.

Cliffhanger? Really?? (That's not very nice). It was a very interesting video. My dad saw me watching it and joined me for most of it. The cannibal part wasn't as gross as I expected, but it was weird. It's amazing how they lived, with no advanced "technology". I thought the narrator guy was a little strange, but I think it was a cool video. I wonder if I would like the rest.

How cruel of the minotar to inprison the people in a cave.the part were the child was was being eatin out of and all of the flesh was a little creepy, but not as creepy as i thuoght, its just cannabullism thow. im so excited to watch the next video.its a real cliffhanger, hopefully it wont have cannabulliism.cant wait to learn more about ancient greece. i think that the minoans were invated and inprisoned when after so, a massive flood accured hopefully the mystery will be unsolved!

The video was very interesting in telling of the mysterious deaths. I believe that neither the volcano nor the taken over part but i believe that what happened was a volcano erupted not taking out the entire civilization and then because of the massive eruption a tsunami hit now taking out most if not all the population. i do have to say i thought the cannibalism scene would be much worse but instead what struck me most as disgusting and even weird was the strange bull man and that he ate people.... AND ALIVE TOO!!!!

It was interesting to learn about their culture and life in Greece in history though. The cannibalism part wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. (Also, I read the comments and somebody said something about eating spaghetti while watching it, which is funny because I ate spaghetti while watching it too) :) It was really informational about the culture, but they didn't seem to talk too much about their disappearance. I think they disappeared from being attacked by invaders, because if it was something volcanic, you'd think at least some of the people would've survived. I thought the video was pretty interesting.

In fact I want to wach the full version but, I don't have that much time left. Anyway as I was saying, I hope the full version will actually tell us how the civilization ended. Oh I forgot to tell you, about that part that had blood.I closed my eyes right when the guy said" They cut the bodies."I did see that guy actor having the knife.I wanted to look but, It seemed that my eyes didn't want to see that part.Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr that was close!!!!!

Well, I liked it although I wish they had more detail on the cannibalism. Because, was there a red bull? Probably not, but for sending people to the laberinth did they just pick any person and throw them in? Or did they throw them in for a specific reason? The video also said that the red bull represented the Minoans fears. Which, you see something in a bad dream and then it just gets worse and worse. Or maybe instead of fears it was to ward off there enemys. If you attack us we will thorw you to the red bull. I think that canibalism is sick and wrong! But like R.J. said: they might not have known. So thanks Mrs. Noble! :]

Is this Alexander's tomb?!It now appears likely that Ptolemy adapted a vacant tomb that had been prepared by and for the last native Pharaoh of Egypt, Nectanebo II. However, this Pharaoh had fled south to Ethiopia, when Egypt had been invaded by the Persians in 343BC, so he never had the opportunity to occupy his tomb. The site of the prospective tomb was a chapel within the temple complex of the Serapeum in the cemetery area of ancient Memphis at Saqqara. It lay at the end of a mile-long avenue of sphinxes. The Serapeum complex was rediscovered by Auguste Mariette in 1850-1851 by excavating the sands away from the sphinxes one by one. Guarding the entrance to the chapel of Nectanebo II, Mariette discovered an incongruous semicircle of life-size Greek statues of poets and philosophers, which appear to date to the time of Ptolemy. Some of them can be identified, including Pindar, whose house and descendants Alexander had saved at Thebes, Homer, who was Alexander's favourite poet, and Plato, who had been the mentor of Alexander's tutor, Aristotle. Could these statues have been erected to honour Alexander's tomb?
